The U.S. has an interest payments problem

The U.S. has an interest payment problem. As debt goes up (already at $22.5 trillion), they will pay more interest on that debt. Tax revenues however are not rising, they are flat.

So the amount of interest payments compared to the tax receipts is going up. This is a key metric which cannot be manipulated by any government and it is pointing towards recession.
